About Our Principal John A. "Jack" Legler is an experienced corporate and trade association executive. Be brings to the table over 30 years of senior management experience, with core skills in: Executive Management, Insurance Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Truck and Aviation Safety, Accident Investigation and Facilitation/Mediation. As President and Founder of Legenter, LLC in 2000, Mr. Legler has provided a variety of executive consulting services to trade organizations, professional and corporate clients. These included assistance on trade show and operations management, and assistance to several start up companies in preparing their business development plans. In 2006 Mr. Legler affiliated Legenter with an international network to provide an expanded array of services in human asset development and quality improvement processes for Legenter’s clients. Most notably, following the September 11 attacks, Mr. Legler assisted the trucking industry to design, fund and implement its Anti-Terrorism Action Plan and the Emergency Planning and Education Center. He facilitated exercises, mobilization planning, technology and emergency planning projects, and spearheaded development of a training program for over 600,000 of the highway sector’s executives, managers and line professionals. As a part of this project Legler also designed and developed the operations procedures for the industry's counter-terrorism intelligence center. Mr. Legler was formerly Executive Vice President for a national manufacturing and distribution trade association, where he was also the primary technical point of responsibility for safety policy and compliance for the his domain included domestic and international standards and trade issues. He was also Operating Officer for the industry’s captive insurance company, building it from startup, and the industry’s nationwide safety and loss prevention programs. He also designed and developed the Professional Support Services Group to serve all the associations of the industry’s umbrella trade organization. Earlier, Mr. Legler was Vice President for the risk management subsidiary of an international insurance corporation, involved in the design, implementation and management of advance risk management programs, with a heavy transportation and hazardous materials transportation. From start-up he built a network of eight Northeastern offices and the National Accounts Division. During the 1970's Mr. Legler was responsible accident investigation of heavy vehicle, general aviation, as well as off road equipment accidents and claims for the nation’s largest independent insurance services company, as well as management of the company’s government contracts. He was highly acclaimed as an outstanding accident investigator, and set many company records for productivity and business development.
